FTIR-CEMS
Continuous Emission Monitoring System is a kind of site extraction FTIR analyzer. With high temperature heating companion (heat and humidity method) during the whole process, FTIR-CEMS can measure a variety of flue gas components, including SO2, NOx (NO, NO2), HCl, CO, O2, humidity, temperature, pressure and flow rate.

Technology:

FTIR (Fourier infrared spectroscopy) technology has a wide coverage, each gas has different absorption, so it is possible to measure the multiple components of the gas simultaneously.

After the infrared radiation enters the interferometer, two beams of coherent light are generated, and the gas sample in the gas room absorbs the energy of the coherent light at a specific wavelength. When the detector detects the interferogram containing the absorption information of the gas sample, the computer will obtain the infrared spectrum of the gas sample through Fourier transform.


When infrared radiation passes through the gas molecular sample, Some wavelengths cannot completely pass through the gas. In other words, different gases absorb infrared radiation at specific wavelengths.
Infrared radiation interacts with the gas molecules, which gain energy from the infrared radiation and begin to vibrate or rotate. All vibrations and revolutions can cause the absorption of specific wavelengths in infrared radiation. This energy transfer from the infrared radiation to the gas molecules can reduce intensity of some wavelengths in the infrared radiation.

The absorption spectra graphically show the degree of absorption of the sample in different infrared bands. The spectra show the transport of infrared radiation through the gas as a function of the wavelength.
For each wavelength, the instrument transmittance T is the infrared radiation intensity passing through the gas divided by the infrared radiation intensity entering the gas. When no absorption, the value of transmittance T is 1 or 100% which indicates the 100% excess sample gas of infrared radiation at this wavelength.

Each gas has absorption at a specific position, and the concentration information of each gas can be predicted by the established model of absorbance and concentration of various gases.



Features:
 
  • Super anti-interference: in order to adapt to the analysis and measurement under complex working conditions such as waste incineration, different from the traditional algorithm, the nonlinear least squares iteration algorithm is adopted to effectively avoid the cross interference between components and the absorption influence of water vapor.

  • Wide application: the system is module design. The measurable parameters can be expanded according to the requirements.


Flow Principle:
  • The system flow path is composed of heat and humidity method, and the whole high temperature heat companion.
  • Reduce gas adsorption in the pipeline, and reduce the attachment of organic matter to the optical lens, improve the accuracy of measurement.
  • The sampling probe is responsible for flue gas sampling, and the built-in ceramic filter element or stainless steel filter element is used to filter the dust in the flue gas; the heat tracing pipeline to avoid the condensation of the water vapor in the flue gas; to the secondary filter to the electric high temperature ball valve into the gas chamber for measurement.
  • The system has the timing of automatic probe back, automatic zero, whole calibration and other functions.

CEMS System composition:

The CEMS system has four basic parts:
  • the dust monitoring subsystem,
  • gaseous pollutants monitoring subsystem (gas analyzer),
  • flue gas parameter monitoring subsystem,
  • system control and data acquisition and processing subsystem.

It can monitor SO2, NOx, O2, dust, temperature, pressure, flow rate and other parameters such as HCl, HF, CO, CO2 for specific occasions. After dedusting by sampling probe, tracing by heating pipe, dehydration and cooling by two-step condensing, the measured gas is analyzed by the heated gas analysis module (TDLAS and DOAS technique).It is an effective solution to solve the technical problem that large humidity variation of the waste incineration and other occasions lead to measuring data fluctuation.

This online continuous emission monitoring system adopts difference optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) analysis technology to measure SO2 and NOx; electrochemical to measure O2. And temperature, pressure, flow rate are respectively measured by pressure sensors and pitot micro differential pressure method. Laser scattering method is adopted to monitor dust and high temperature capacitance for humidity. Besides of SO2 and NOx, DOAS technology can also analyzer gases NH3, Cl2, H2S, O3 and etc. If system is extended with other analysis modules, it can also analyze and measure HF, HCl, CO, CO2 and so on at the same time.


1.  FT-3000 Fourier infrared gas analyzer

FT-3000 is an online continuous gas monitoring analyzer based on Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, monitoring emission gas of SO2, NOx(NO, NO2), CH4, NH3, HCl, HF, CO, CO2, O2, H2O, and other components at the same time, and can extend to measure other components such as SO3, N2O, etc. according to user demand. The continuous gas analyzer has high measurement precision, high range dynamics, low detection limit, which is suitable for low emission monitoring.

This laser gas analyzer has a white cavity design, high signal-to-noise ratio, measuring optical path up to 13m, low detection limit, high range dynamics,  it is suitable for ultra-low emission monitoring; Using the least squares method and the PLS algorithm, selecting the appropriate wavelength range, can effectively eliminate the interference of H2O and other composition; Interior cavity mirror of gas cell is plated with gold, high reflectivity.

3.  DMT-100 Dust Monitor

DMT-100 is a self-developed online dust analysis product and a dust particle measuring device, adopting laser backward scattering measuring technology with imported core components. The DMT-100 dust particle measuring device is mainly used for continuous monitoring of PM emission concentrations of various pollution sources. The DMT-100 dust particle measuring device can be installed with CEMS continuous emission monitoring system, it also can be used separately or together with multiple dust monitors to form a dust monitoring network, sharing the same data collection and processing background.

Working principle
The DMT-100 dust particle measuring device consists of the optical part, circuit and signal processing part, calibrator and air curtain protection part.

The laser beam (650nm) emitted by semiconductor laser enters the stack and produces scattering light by interaction with dust particles. The backscattered light of the DMT-100 dust particle measuring device enters the photosensitive detector through the convergence of the lens. The signal processing circuit converts the light signal into a standard signal in proportion to dust concentration and output, thus dust particle emission concentration of pollution source is obtained.
